Life is Happening

Change is a constant evitability

Life is a Happening

Yes, life is a happening all the time. Life is a nonstop unfoldment of expressions and experiences, which are easily internalized. Then, on the other hand, life is a choice of what to internalize. Choice is a power which we all need to develop knowledgeably. It has been said, “We are the masters of our own faith”. You may be scratching your head about now and wondering how that is possible. The truth is it is possible in its own personal way for each of us.

As individuals we all have the right to determine for ourselves who we are, or how we manage who we are. Like the weather life will determine for us what the situational atmosphere can be at any given time. That does not mean we are not at choice to how we will manage ourselves. Of how we choose to approach and handle the experience of that moment’s situation. It simply depends on your intention at that moment. Our intention or motivation controls our relationship to anything, person, or situation we are relating to. When we understand our underlying intention, our motivation in the moment, we can manage our approach to any situation. We can manage it from a place where we can decide for our self the influence it will have on us and over us. This understanding is an aspect of the practice of mindfulness.

Mindfulness has a key importance in our lives. Mindfulness allows for us in a knowledgeable way, to take the time we need for our self to determine how we choose to manage our self in the moment. It is this self-management, which is an act of self-love, which allows for us to be at choice as to how we choose for our-self in that moment. It is the personal choice we make for our own development, and our overall health and well-being, and most importantly for our future self.

Yes, the world may seem like it is crazy and overwhelmingly frightening at this present time, but you do not have to act crazy or be overwhelmingly frighten yourself. Our first responsibility is to ourselves, to manage ourselves to reflect the level of maturity needed to live an evolved life. If you wish, no, if you choose to affect the changes you believe is necessary in this world, you first must affect those changes in yourself. We all need to learn to manage our thoughts and emotions in a healthy and powerful way, so they reflect outwardly what we wish to see in the world. We need to evolve ourselves to meet the challenges of today. Each one of us is needed. Therefore, mindfulness is needed. Therefore, we all need to, or should I say, we all must artfully practice mindfulness to facilitate a beautiful life for the development of a beautiful world. Namaste.

Equanimity is the power which carries us peacefully through life’s paths of trials and errors.

The Path is clearly marked when we are aligned with our purpose. Equanimity leads the way.

Personal power or Personal will is a matter of making sound and centered matured choices. Personal choices are the means to facilitating the development of our personal powers. In developing personal power trial and error is a critical part of the learning experiences of our inner search for understanding life. Therefore, success as well as failure is a means to enhancing our discernment of the truth which is a power. It is what is self-empowerment. Therefore, both failure and success are needed for growth and empowerment. They both equally facilitate knowledgeable growth. Both are necessary to recognize what the actual and undeniable truth honestly and deeply is.

Uncovering the understanding of the truth is a practice of equanimity, trial and error, and provides you with the power to discern the illusions of life’s drama. Equanimity weeds out the mental and emotional distractions drawn-out from life. Equanimity prevents you from becoming discouraged by your failed outcomes because you learnt the truth.

So, which way shall I go when things seem so confusing? Well, that’s an easy one for me. I go inside first to consult with myself. I’ll go inside first where I’m totally in acceptance of myself. I go Inside to meet with my personal best friend who gives me feelings of loving support. Think of it, how many times did you fall without becoming discourage by your failure to walk before you walked. None of us were discouraged by falling, even if we banged our head and cried. We never saw it as a failure. We just got up and kept on going. We can learn so much about determination from watching babies and toddlers.

Some personal powers (values) are, self-trust, self-honesty, truth, integrity, compassion, self-love/self-support, self- encouragement, discernment, tolerance, contentment, and courage/determination. What are your powers?

The Thoughts You Feed your Mind Determine Your Health & Well-Being

Thoughts are the foods for the mind. Choose well for your
mental, emotional, and physical health.

So, what are you feeding your mind these days? Hopefully, it not worry and disgust. Those thing are sure to give your mind an upset and affect your overall well-being. It is important to feed your mind with the kind of delicious and nutritious thoughts which will encourage health and well-being. Whatever is happen in life is happening in life, and that doesn’t mean you have to gorge yourself with it. It is important we always remind ourselves of our ability to get through it all. After all what else are we going to do. So, start your day with a diet of good supportive thoughts which will encourage you to focus all the things you have control of, not the thing you don’t. Oh, and drink your eight glass of water. Your emotional body will thank you. TTFN and namaste.

Living from Within Your Own Space II

Be aware of what you choose to allow to own you.

Our intention and attention are ways we incorporate things from life into our inner personal space; the space which is held for our safety and security. If it exists within your inner personal space it is because you have connected your intention or attention to it in some prolonged way. Therefore, you have incorporated it into the inner space of your heart or mind. Perhaps it is you are currently unconsciously connecting your attention to something by choice of your divided attention. In other words, you have taken possession of it and incorporated it as a part of your inner reality unintentionally.

Intentionally or unintentionally holding on to something from life allows your attraction toward it to pull it into your safe inner space. Our intention and attention are exercises of our personal choice. In applying them we have selected to incorporate the motivation of our attention into our safe and secure space. Undoubtingly this isn’t always our intention. Yes, there are things and circumstances from life we certainly appreciate being a part of the comfort of our safety and secure inner space. On the other hand, there are things which certainly do not belong, and infringe on our safety and security. These are the things from life which cripple the safety and security of our inner home.

It is important to learn the skill of observing but not absorbing. Doing so gives you a choice of discerning what there is in life you’re willing to allow in. These are the things which will allow you to stay safe, secure, and stress free.  Most importantly you must be aware of the stressful things you are giving to much attention to. These are the things which you aren’t meaning to incorporate inside of your safe space at that time. These things are prone to steal away your power. You may not be ready to take them in at that given time.  Yes, there are times when it’s fitting to do so. Look for specific knowledgeable time to bring inside the things you’ve chosen based on your self-respect. As you evolve these will be the things which will support the safety and security of your personal inner space. Of course, there will always be those times when looming things and situations from life must be kept at some distance. A distance away from our intention and attention. At least until you have developed the truth concerning them, and the self-trust to handle them safely. This is a good reason for practicing mindfulness.

Living from Within Your Own Space

Silence is Golden

It is easy to say we are living our lives in wobbly times. It is as if life has lost its balance and spin, and all things are being shaken loose, and falling apart. Yes, that may be the case, but it need not be so disturbing. That is, it need not be so disturbing if your space is in order, and that is the personal space from which you conduct your life peacefully. This secure and safe peaceful space is your inner space. It is the space where all that is you stems from. It is the space, when stable, where no one can affect you unless you allow it. It is a mighty space built on integrity and personal trust. It is a space of absolute truth; we cannot build safety and security on lies. You must decide for yourself how this space of yours is fashioned, that will determine the value of its true safety and security. In this place there is no truth in lies, and in truth herein the only person you must answer to first is no one but yourself. So, take the time to check out this your inner space and to put it in order. Do so, so you can maintain some degree of safety and security during these wobbly times. This safe space is a place you will call your true home. It is always with you no matter where you go. Meditate.

Awakening II

The Silence Within the Stillness

When we recognize the one who we have been looking for is the one who is the silence, and the one within the stillness is you. You are the silence too. This aspect of you has always been there. Although, not outside of you though. It is the center of the calmness, and the center of all your spaces from which your thoughts blossom. For it is you who is the one who orchestrates your life. You are never alone as long as you are with yourself, and this is key to empowering yourself. For you see, it is the silence which holds all the answer for you. You just need to meet it where it is. Inside the silence center in the affinity of your being. It is there you will come upon the love that is your self, and when that love answer you… you will know.

Giving Light is Giving Love

Sharing your light is sharing your Love

All we need now to do is to give each other is our light. Not our darkness but our radiant inner light, so we may find our way out of the looming darkness of hate and fear. If you’re not sure what the light is, it is love, and it illuminates the whole being of the giver as well as it illuminates the whole beings of the ones receiving it, accepting it. That is the most astonishing and beautiful thing about love, it heals all pain… that’s right the pain of the giver diminishes and the pains of hurt and fear of the receiver, that is the accepter diminish too. Love as well will clears the air of despair in the surrounding atmosphere it illuminates. Think of how powerful this is, and it is done simple and honestly by loving ourselves equally to each other more readily. Love. Love. Love, love, love. John Lennon said it well, “All we need is love”.

HUGS

A hug can have the power to warm the heart. It can illuminate the spirit of someone in despair. A hug and the feelings it conveys is like magic. Covid 19 has decrease the hugs we are giving and receiving, and that is making it difficult as we feel more and more isolated from each other. It seems we are to learn how to convey our love and tenderness in other ways during this time of separations. Perhaps it is the time to learn to raise our vibrations and magnify our love so that is pour out of us to and into those we wish to feel it. Why don’t we all try. We can start wherever we are by closing our eyes and centering ourselves with in the love of our hearts. Feeling and amplifying the love we have to fill our hearts and then throughout our entire bodies. This is a wonderful exercise for experiencing your own love. Once you have reached this stage enjoy it, appreciate it, and then send it to whoever you wish. To the entire world if you wish. This is a “spiritual hug”, and it can be experience by the receiver. You can express this to those in your presences or long distance. How fun experimenting in joyfulness and in love.

Being and Doing

Overdoing can leave your being feeling invisible.

Human –Being or Human-Doing

Are you a human-being or are you a human-doing? There is a healthy difference between the two. A human being lives a mindful life based on living in self-awareness, and from this position their doing takes place comfortably. In this case any stress will promote growth. A human-doing is constantly in the act of doing to distract themselves from themselves. They avoid being, in turn they avoid being mindful and fully aware of themselves; lost in the distraction of their doings. Stress is therefore increased as the outcome of self-avoidance when little time is spent on self-awareness. Therefore, there is less personal growth in living as a human-doing. Do you know when you are distracting yourself from being and feeling, therefore growing?

The Badge of the Tin Man

It’s all about having heart.

The greatest of all badges is the badge of the love symbolized by the heart. Although we all have this badge within us, we all don’t honor its power, the power of giving of ourselves unconditionally. We may speak about having it to give, we may boast about giving it, even lie about it, but the truth of this power doesn’t come through our words. It is a silent power which is demonstrated through our action. It is then through demonstrating love, although that heart is hidden, it becomes visible and is expressed in the words of others. They will say, “That person has heart”. This is what the Tin Man of Oz discovered. Is that person with a visible heart you? The world is in great need of visible hearts. Honoring the self.
