The Love of Resilience

Resilience is a gift of self-knowledge given to us by our self-love. As we accept this gift from our self, we naturally accept the experiences we face in life as experiences which wishes to grow us, to mature us. Therefore, resilience is the power of loving knowledge which comes from our own nurturance, our own self-caring, our own encouragement. Life will always be no more or no less than what it is, or what it is presenting to us at any given moment. Like in any classroom, such as life is our classroom, there is always something to learn, something which comes to remold us, to make us a better individual for our future. Resilience finds its purpose in that. Resilience is the inspiration which is always there to lift us up and dust us off if needed. Resilience tends to any wounds and even works to heal them. Resilience is the part of you, living inside of you, that can’t help but love you. So, why not let resilience love you? Why not let resilience care for you as no one else can? Resilience is your bestest of friends. Hello resilience, I am so glad you’re here. Be resilient, start today in honor and love of yourself.

“Honoring The Self”

Acceptance is the Doorway to Growth and Contentment; Wherein Contentment is the Key to Happiness.

Acceptance is not giving-in. Acceptance is opening-up. Opening-up to receive the facts which are staring us right in the face and knocking on the door of our intelligence. Therefore, one can easily say acceptance is a gift of sight, or intelligence.

Yes, we may know the facts and recognize the truth, and we maybe even feeling it churning deep in our gut, but “no”, we tell ourselves, it cannot be the truth. The truth is it is *obviously true. We can say it is true, because we know it is obviously true, but we refuse. So, the question becomes, are we not accepting the facts or are we not accepting the way we feel about the facts, the truth. Are we rejecting the hurt and ominous disappointment which comes along with the facts, along with the reality of the situation?

The greater truth is as soon as we accept what is before us, the sooner we can let-go of the pain and disappointment, and in doing so discover what is on the other side of it for our growth. I believe life does not do it to us, life does it for us.

Letting-go is the child of acceptance. A bird can become so fond of its branch that it chooses not to let-go. The problem with this is when it wishes to fly, no matter how hard and how long it flaps it wings to fly it will not fly, until it lets-go of the branch. Once the bird accepts it needs to let-go to move-on, it finds contentment in its flight, and soon that contentment becomes its happiness. Acceptance leads to letting-go. Letting-go leads to becoming content. Contentment leads to the discovery of the enjoyment of happiness.

*All of that said, there are times in one’s life when things are not final in our mind, and the possibilities are there for a change to occur. One can during those time commit themselves to a vision of change in support of the potential possibilities. Life can be miraculous. The gift of acceptance, the power it holds, is also a knowledge-enbling power. It is the understanding of when the time comes to let-go comes, to let go. This is a choice one must make for them self when learning from life’s lessons. This is how you Honor yourself.

The Power of Stepping Away

The world outside of our SELF. That is the world beyond the limits of the being of silence; that which we truly are. It is this place of peaceful silence which affords us the view into a world which surrounds us. A world which surrounds each of us with its unfolding moments of concerns, which seeks to pull us into its influence, to own us. It seeks to make us of its making. In essence it wishes to make us its slave for all time. Therefore, due to this pulling, the influence of the external world, it is important to remember truly who you belong to. You, as much as you allow yourself to, belong to you, to the silence of your “self”. The external world only has the power over you which you give to it, remember that. This is your right. You do not have to be influenced by the chaotic volume of incessant clamor. Simply withdraw, let-go, and find solace in the loving embracing silence of the beingness of the peaceful inner-self. It is easier to do so from within the space of mindful meditation. It is a place within where you can find the self within the loving peace of joyful rest, that is where you will discover the power of the “self”.

Arguing with a Person is No Way of Offering the Truth

An argument is not a health conversation.

There isn’t a way to convince anyone to believe what they choose not to believe. When an individual’s mind is closed, they are not even willing to be in a place to consider what the truth is. In those situations, we have a better chance of moving a mountain. So, why waste your time when the evidence is clearly stating the truth of the matter, they have no interest in taking in what you’re offering. It doesn’t matter how much you try their mind is shut tightly closed and locked, and you are beating your head against a brick wall trying to get it to open. Take solace in the fact that you are aware of the truth and appreciate that with a smile. Perhaps in time they will hear what you have offered them as truth, when the emotions of the argument has ended. On the other hand, we must listen to hear what others are saying even if we disagree. It is important to offer others our respect as we would appreciate theirs.

Being Present

Being mindfully present in life extends your life

Being Present

What does it mean to be present? What I am asking is not simply about having your body present somewhere in a particular space in time. What I am asking about is having your body and mind fully present in the moment. Mindfulness, being present physically, mentally, and emotionally in the moment with an aware sense of being consciously present. Right there where you are, in each of the unfolding moments, simply being aware of the fullness of each moment. It sounds quite easy, but I am not quite sure it is for most. Our thoughts are constantly roaming and leaving the present moment, so it seems like an illusion. Our thoughts tend to wander out of the present time and move through the past, and then forward beyond the present to enter a time we are imagining. We are seldomly truly present in the moment. We easily become attached to the past or to some nonexistent future. our minds are rarely in our bodies living in the present time.

Take this time to stop and re-center yourself. Become present by sensing the wholeness of your being living now. Let-go of all else in this moment, simply close your eyes and become mindful of the body you are in, and the feeling of the air you are breathing. Take the time to feel the flow of breath causing your chest to slowly rise and fall as air passes through your nose, and down through your lungs and into your bloodstream. Sense your heartbeat and your blood carrying the air through your blood stream. Sense it circulating through your body, moving through all the parts of your body. Flowing with every in an out breath and every single heartbeat. Track its flow through your body, throughout every limb, circulating to the very tip of your toes and fingers, and to the top of your head. Sense its flow back to the center of the body, back into the lungs, and out through your nose. This is a way of being mindfully present.

When we take the time throughout the day, when we take the time to be mindfully present, everything then slows down, and we become relaxed, and become re-centered. Even our GPS navigating systems on our phone sometimes needs to be re-centered. We too need to be re-centered for sanity sake. When we re-center we slow down and we re-orient ourselves to our day with clarity. And most importantly of all is we slow-down to take in all the gifts of our day.

Life is a Banquet of Foods for Our Thoughts

Life is a banquet of foods for our senses, and therefore for our mind and emotions. What we consume throughout the day will determine how we feel overall throughout our day and days. Our eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and skin are constantly consuming all they can, always in search for some form of sensation. Most of the times without regard for the affect it will have on our well-being, our overall health. Our eyes, and then our ears, more than any other of the senses are constantly consuming, searching back-and- forth like radar, seeking for something to please it or even to displease it. All of this is to be digested in the mind. Then depending on your beliefs will determine how your mind will handle the influx of your consumption. Beliefs are what will create the juices for the churning of our mental digestion. These juices are the flow of the types of emotions, which will drive our personal moods and attitudes, which is the determination for our mental digestion. Like any food, and particularly speaking here about our mental foods, what we put in our mind through our senses can be of short-term or long-term benefit or detriment to our bodies and our lives. Therefore, it is vitally important to consider what you are consuming mentally, bringing into your mind throughout the day. What are you consuming, which is of value to you, and will it nourish your wellbeing? Is it the form of healthy consumption which will support you metal wellbeing and your emotion stability? Well, happy and healthy eating through your day from the banquet of life.

You are at the Center of the Universe which is the Center of Your Created Reality

Your are the Center of the Universe

It is you who are the light of consciousness, the awareness which perceives the reality you watch and experience. It is you who shines your light of consciousness into the world through your mind to perceive your reality. It is your beliefs of the mind which holds the images etched by thoughts and colored by emotions, which your light shines through to show your projected reality within the group reality. We are the creator of our own world. It is each of us who must take responsibility for what we see, and for what we choose to do with what we see. You are truly the one, the only one, who stands as the star of your life at the center of your personal unfolding universe.

The Working of Hope and Faith

Hope and Faith are the actions of consciousness.

Hope and faith can be likened to seeds containing powerful synergistic energy, dormant in life, and waiting for someone to place them into the soil of their mind by their thoughts to grow.

Hope and faith are dynamic energies available for our utilization. Therefore, there is the need to utilize them, to apply them, using our actions, our karmas.

A seed when planted needs to be nurtured with water and sunlight, and all weeds must be removed, which may grow around it to choke it out. So, it is with the seeds of hope and faith. They must be equally tended to by each individual planter as they plant these seeds firmly in their minds. It is with a strong focused intellect these seeds are then watered, as the planter creates the nurturing powerful thoughts to accommodate their growth. The intellect must remain steady and clearly focused on its loving goal. It must do so moment by moment throughout each day, as it faces the voices of the noisy weedish clamor, and the challenges of our world. Our application with its clear potential, made through the thoughts of the planting of the seeds of hope and faith, is ready to meet all challenges, as it denies any adverse thinking. This denial of adverse thoughts removes the clouds of the mind and provides the light of nurturing sunlight, which gently calls on the seeds of hope and faith to sprout and grow. It is this application born out of the thoughts of one’s applied beliefs, along with the applied actions of that belief, which makes the actions of hope and faith become manifested in one’s life.

Growth, we cannot live without it.

Evolve

When we stop growing believing we have reached the pinnacle of our understanding, life becomes stagnant to us.

Growth is the most important aspect of living our lives. Growth is what fuels all that exist healthily in our environment and all that exist for us as human-beings. Just consider how much growth, that is how much change, takes place from conception and into adulthood. We need to grow in definable ways. That is, we need to grow, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.  Growth in many ways fuels our discoveries of the world, ourselves, and each other. It fosters experiences of innovative and unique views of ourselves and the world around us. Growth is the driving spark of inspiration which refreshes our mind and intellect for constant learning and renewal, it will do this throughout our lives.

The great problems in our lives start when we decide there is no more need to grow. This causes our mind and intellect to atrophy, becoming a pigeonhole of our past experiences, everything clumped into one small, personalized world view of reality. We then believe, egoically, we know all we need to know, and our personal beliefs are that of imperial knowledge. Nothing can be so far from the truth. Life is about learning, and growing and learning is about living life.

So, you see, we must become like little inquisitive children again. Waking-up each morning excited to see what wonders the world will offer us this particular day for our learning. Doing so we can contribute to our growth and a refreshing and greater more benevolent view of life. As we then wake up each morning with excited and renewed eyes and intellect, we are open to new ideas for ourselves and the world. The world no longer appears stagnant and sorrowful. That is because you are its new wonder, and the synergistic energy of that wonder is beneficial to all. As we each grow and raise our vibrations the world becomes renewed and refresh by our willingness to see it with childlike wonder.

Worry without the Self-Trust given by Self-Respect or Concern with the Self-Trust given by Self-Respect?

It is amazing what self-trust can accomplish.

Worry is a weighted burden, which plants the choking weeds of thoughts of a negative outcome, to obscure the vision of the successful event you have applied yourself to occur. Concern on the other hand is a self-respectful reminder to be respectful of yourself.  A reminder to trustingly examine the circumstances of the situation to ensure yourself you have fulfilled all the responsibilities under your control. Concern promotes personal checking. It is about looking things over, measuring the possibilities for what you have done to facilitate the beneficial outcome. Whereas worry is about simply applying immense measures of fear, frightening yourself.  Concern is not meant to linger in the mind. Once you have responsibly covered all you can do, concern is released and is traded in for self-trust. Trust knowingly in yourself that you have taken care of all you can, all that is in your power, and then let -go. The last step is to be willing to accept the outcome. It doesn’t help not to accept it, due to it being factually what it is, the outcome. You cannot wish it away or hope it away, it is as it is, at least for now. What you can do once you have accepted the facts of the truth is another thing. You can always check and see what you might have done differently and be thankful for what you have learned. You always can see what you can do now, or in the future, with what you have learnt to bring benefit to the present outcome. Happy journeys of trial and error. Such is our living experiences of life, as it is said, “live and learn”.
