Letting-Go of the Toxicity
When we let go of something toxic, we remove it from our home, body, mind, or heart, or even from our soul. We do our best to dispose of it, not only by letting it go, but we throw it away; we distance ourselves from it. Hopefully, it is removed to somewhere far away. Yet this is not quite enough. We need to make sure we clean-out any remanence of it. Toxins tend to leave a trace of itself. It is as if it leaves a heavy stain or a bad odor as a placeholder, so it can return later. So, letting-go, discarding it, is just the beginning of what we must do.
So, what am I talking about here? I am talking about the toxic things we allow ourselves to get caught-up with. We just cannot simply throw them out like we throw-out the trash. This degree of toxicity needs thorough after-cleaning. What is the nature of this cleaning which needs to be conducted? Well, it first involves understanding what it is which allowed for the circumstances of the situation to occur in the first place. What is it specifically which invited the toxin in? Are you aware of what it is, and what is the belief you’re supporting which allowed for it to occur? Sometime the true root cause of the toxin is not the situation or person itself, yes, they can be toxic too. But the beliefs which attracts that type of situation is the true culprit.
As we prepare to enter a new year, and we make the shift into a new beginning, it is a designated time to clean out the toxins in our lives. This may come as letting-go of things you no longer use or wear. There are lots of homeless people in need you can donate to. Then there is our inner-personal-cleaning. That is of clearing-out our minds of the toxic and flawed belief systems we no longer have any need for, because they no longer serve our health and well-being. And of course, there is our sweet loving hearts. Time to let go of old pains from the past. There is no use for the painful hurt they carry. After a while they become toxically cluttering and take up the space love can use for self-nurturing and for loving growth. Doing all of this serves and heals the soul as its blockages are cleared-out. Remember it is not always as simple as saying and believing the toxins are gone. The work is in replacing them with new healthy and supportive belief systems and loving people who support who you aspire to be. So, have fun filled enjoyment cleaning-out the old toxic stuff to make room for, and to add to, your new healthy life. Use plenty of lux (loving) soap, it makes the work easier.
